Eric Westin has extensive work experience in the field of clinical development and translational sciences. Eric currently serves as the Vice President of Clinical Development and Translational Sciences at ImmunoGen, Inc. Eric previously held the position of Principal Consultant at Westin Consulting LLC for a brief period in 2017. Prior to that, they worked at Takeda Pharmaceuticals International Company as the Vice President and Head of Early Clinical Research & Development in the Oncology Therapeutic Area Unit. Eric also worked at Millennium: The Takeda Oncology Company as the Senior Director and Group Head for Cell Signalling. Earlier in their career, they held various roles at Eli Lilly and Company, National Institute on Aging, NIH, West Virginia University, Virginia Commonwealth University, and National Institutes of Health, NCI.

Eric Westin has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, which they completed between 1970 and 1976. Subsequently, they attended Albany Medical College where they obtained their MD degree from 1972 to 1976. Eric then pursued an Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine from 1976 to 1979. Lastly, they completed a Medical Oncology Fellowship at the National Cancer Institute from 1979 to 1984.
