Evan Newell

Co-founder and advisor at ImmunoScape

Evan Newell has had a diverse work experience over the years. Evan started as a Graduate Student at University Health Network in 2000 and later worked as a Post-doctoral Fellow at Stanford University from 2006 to 2012. Following that, they joined Singapore Immunology Network as a Principal Investigator where they focused on applying and developing new methodologies using single-cell mass spectrometry. In 2014, Evan became an Adjunct Assistant Professor at both Nanyang Technological University and National University of Singapore, holding these positions until 2018. Evan also co-founded and advised ImmunoScape starting in 2016. Finally, in 2018, Evan joined Fred Hutch as an Associate Professor.

Evan Newell completed a Ph.D. in Physiology at the University of Toronto from 2000 to 2006. Prior to that, from 1996 to 2000, they obtained a B.Sc. in Interdepartmental Honours Immunology from McGill University.
