Obi Nwokorie

Obi Nwokorie joined Impac Mortgage Holdings, Inc. (“IMH”) in May 2021 as its Chief Investment Officer and EVP, Alternative Credit Products. He sits on the IMH Executive, Risk, and Capital Markets Committees. He has an extensive history in the mortgage industry. Previously, Mr. Nwokorie served as Managing Director of mortgage trading at Seer Capital Management LP, where he was responsible for bulk whole loan acquisition and securitization of Non-QM, NPL, and Fix and Flip mortgages. Prior to Seer Capital, Mr. Nwokorie served in various roles at both Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC and UBS Securities LLC, including subprime and second lien whole loan trading, head of the asset finance structuring, and on the new issue syndicate desk. Mr. Nwokorie has also worked at PwC and Ryland Mortgage. Mr. Nwokorie holds a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate Finance from Abia State University, Nigeria, and an M.B.A in Finance from the University of Baltimore.
