Jose Juan Munguia

Jose Juan Munguia's work experience began in 1989 at General Motors as a Mfg. Engineer / Ops, where they were involved in project management, new product/process design, construction of tooling and equipment, and plant stabilization. Jose Juan then served as Operation and Assistance Plant Manager, overseeing manufacturing operations and product launches for Vehicle and Powertrain plants. In 2011, they were promoted to Power Train and Assembly Director, responsible for manufacturing operations in multiple countries and implementing global processes. From 2013 to 2019, they held the position of Vehicle Assembly Plant Director, leading operations and production of 1200 units per day at SLP Mexico. Since 2019, they have been working as an Executive Director at Penske Logistics, and in 2023, they will assume the role of Chief Manufacturing Officer at Impact Housing.

Jose Juan Munguia obtained a Professional Degree in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Engineering/Industrial Management from the Universidad del Valle de México between 1985 and 1989.
