Nick Wilkes

Nick Wilkes has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Nick is currently serving as the Director of Business Development at Impact Washington - NIST MEP since June 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an Account Executive at the same company from October 2021 to June 2023. In 2023, they also became an Advisory Board Member at NIMA. In their previous roles, they served as the Regional Director, Client Solutions at iMpact Utah from September 2020 to September 2021. Nick also worked as a Technology Commercialization Manager at the University of Utah Technology & Venture Commercialization from December 2017 to August 2019. Prior to that, they were employed as a Staff Engineer, Business Development at Utah-MEP from March 2017 to December 2017. Nick gained significant experience at Precision Castparts, where they held multiple positions including Program Office Manager, Production Planning/Customer Service & Shipping Manager, Business Development Project Manager, Manufacturing Systems Leader, and participated in the Management Development Program between July 2010 and November 2016.

Nick Wilkes has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Purdue University, completed from 2006 to 2010. Nick also has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business, obtained from 2014 to 2016. In addition, Nick participated in the Energy Tomorrow Study Abroad Program at UNSW in 2008. Nick also obtained certification in Pitch Perfect Sales Training from the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business in 2016.
