Lauren began their education at Imperial Valley College, where they earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Biology, General in the years 2010 to 2012. Lauren furthered their studies at the same institution and obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in General Science from 2013 to 2014. Later, they pursued nursing and completed an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse at Imperial Valley College from 2014 to 2016.

Lauren then pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Nursing at San Diego State University from 2016 to 2017. Lauren continued their education at California State University-San Bernardino, where they obtained a Graduate Certificate in School Audiometry in the year 2017.

In 2018, Lauren enrolled in San Diego State University again, this time pursuing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Nursing Leadership in Healthcare Systems, which they completed in 2020. During this time, in 2019 and 2020, they also attended California State University, Fullerton, where they earned a Graduate Certificate in School Nurse Services Credential.

In addition to their educational achievements, Lauren has also obtained multiple certifications. Lauren obtained a School Audiometrist certification from the California Department of Health Care Services in December 2017. Lauren also acquired a Public Health Nurse certification from the Board of Registered Nursing in August 2017. Furthermore, they gained a School Nurse Services Credential (Clear) from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing in June 2020. In May 2020, they obtained the nationally recognized certification of a Nationally Certified School Nurse (NCSN) from the NATIONAL BOARD FOR CERTIFICATION OF SCHOOL NURSES INCORPORATED. Lauren also holds a Human Subject Research IRB Certification from CITI, acquired in September 2018. Additionally, they have a Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
