Originally from Jennings, Louisiana, Joel earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Finance, from the University of Southwestern Louisiana. He has over 27 years of experience in human resources and business management, working with companies across the Acadiana and Gulf Coast regions. Joel has completed multiple certification and training programs in his areas of specialization. He is a Certified Training Facilitator by DDI (Development Dimensions International), a Society of HR Certified Professional by SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) and a PHR Professional certified by HRCI (HR Certification Institute). He is also certified as an internal auditor for ISO 9001 and ISO 2200 by SAI Global Auditing. Joel is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), the Imperial Calcasieu Society of SHRM and Development Dimensions International (DDI World). He joined Imperial Health in 2022.
