Jack McCarthy

Project Delivery Assistant at Imperial War Museums

Jack McCarthy's work experience begins in 2013 at Waterside Arts Centre, where they worked as a Customer Service Apprentice, gaining experience in delivering quality service and performing administrative duties. Jack then worked as a Front of House Assistant, serving drinks in a fast-paced environment and managing the bar independently at times. Jack also worked as a Box Office Assistant, selling tickets using complex software and providing polite and informed service to customers.

In 2019, Jack joined Imperial War Museums as a Retail & Admission Assistant, where they greeted visitors, provided information, and assisted with purchases in the museum shop. Jack later transitioned to the role of Project Delivery Assistant, where they are involved in documenting the 5-year Digital Futures project, locating collections, managing detailed information, and preparing collections for digitization.

Jack McCarthy attended The Manchester Metropolitan University from 2015 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology.
