Lebin Cheng

Lebin Cheng has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Lebin is currently serving as the Head of API Security at Imperva since May 2021. Prior to that, they held various leadership positions at CloudVector, where they were the Founder and CEO from November 2020 to May 2021, and the Founder and CTO from May 2018 to November 2020. Lebin was also the Founder and CEO of ArecaBay from May 2018 to November 2020.

Lebin Cheng was involved in the development of cloud app analytics and policy at Netskope, where they served as the Cofounder, Vice President of App Engineering from October 2013 to May 2018. Lebin also held the role of Head of Engineering and Cofounder from October 2012 to October 2013.

Prior to Netskope, Lebin Cheng worked at VMware as a Group Product Manager from May 2011 to October 2012, and as a Senior R&D Manager from October 2008 to September 2011. Lebin also worked at NebuAd Inc as the VP of Engineering, Infrastructure Products from October 2006 to October 2008, and at McAfee Security Inc as a Senior Dev Manager/Architect from April 2003 to October 2006.

Lebin Cheng previously held the position of Senior Manager at McAfee for the Intrushield Management System from April 2003 to October 2006. Lebin began their career at IntruVert Networks as a Team Lead and Architect from June 2001 to May 2003. Prior to that, they worked at HP as a Network Architect from June 1996 to May 2001, where they were involved in research and development and the design and implementation of large-scale IT infrastructure roll-outs.

Lebin Cheng obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Northeastern University in 1994. Lebin went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Purdue University from 1994 to 1996. In 2004, Lebin Cheng enrolled at the University of California, Berkeley and graduated with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business.
