David Ord

David Ord's work experience begins in 1993 when they worked as a Software Engineer at Maxon Systems Inc. In 1994, they joined Ericsson as a Software Engineer and later moved to Skyworks Solutions, Inc. in 1996, where they served as the Team Lead for Software in Cellular Systems. In 2005, they joined Impinj as a Senior Software Engineer and remained in that role until 2010. From 2010 to 2013, David worked at STEC, Inc. as a Principal Software Engineer and Software Manager. David then joined OCZ Storage Solutions as a Principal Firmware Engineer from 2013 to 2016. In 2016, they joined Impinj again, this time as a Principal Software Engineer. David worked as a Senior Firmware Engineer at Mobilogix from 2018 to 2020. From 2018 to the present, they have also worked as an Independent Firmware Consultant, developing firmware for various projects. In 2020, they joined Delphi Engineering Group as a Senior Staff Software Engineer.

David Ord earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Northumbria at Newcastle, UK from 1986 to 1990. David also obtained additional certifications such as C Essential Training, Learning C, and Programming Foundations: Object-Oriented Design from LinkedIn in 2018.
