Osama Hashmi MD MPH

Osama Hashmi MD MPH has a long and varied work experience. In 2020, they were the Head of Product at Impiricus. From 2019 to 2020, they were a Resident Physician at Emory Healthcare. From 2013 to 2020, they were the CEO of Vitamin C, where they worked with a group of developers, patients, and caregivers to improve health by reaching people when they need it. From 2010 to 2013, they were the Policy Director at Roosevelt Institute@UGA. From 2013 to 2013, they were a Research Assistant at Stanford University, working with Dr. Mary Goldstein on the ATHENA clinical decision support system. From 2010 to 2010, they were an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Department of Health Policy and Management, University of Georgia. From 2012 to 2012, they were a Healthcare Policy Intern at the Greater New York Hospital Assn. From 2011 to 2011, they were a Health Policy Fellow at Behan Law. From 2011 to 2011, they were a CURO Summer Research Fellow at the University of Georgia. Finally, from 2011 to 2011, they were an Intern at Athens Health Network.

Osama Hashmi MD MPH began their educational journey at Lakeside. Osama then attended The University of Georgia, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2014, as well as a Master of Public Health in Health Policy and Management in 2014. Osama then went on to Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University, graduating with a Doctor of Medicine in 2018.
