Shanna Martin

Shanna Martin has a solid background in the healthcare industry, with a focus on cardiac devices and cardiology. Shanna is currently serving as a Regional Sales Manager at Implicity, a position they have held since February 2023. Prior to that, Shanna worked at Abbott for four years, starting as a Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) clinical specialist and later transitioning into the role of Direct Sales Representative. Shanna was with Abbott from April 2019 to February 2023.

Prior to joining Abbott, Shanna worked at Eastside Heart and Vascular as an EP clinical device manager and CHF & Structural Heart coordinator from October 2017 to February 2019. Before that, they spent four years at Gwinnett Heart Specialist as part of the Cardiac Device Clinic and Arrhythmia Center from February 2013 to October 2017.

Shanna's career began at Emory University Hospital in April 2011, where they worked with Cardiac Pacemakers and ICDs until February 2013. Shanna started their professional journey in the healthcare industry at Gwinnett Medical Center in July 1998. During their time there, they worked as a Cardiology CCT from June 2003 to April 2011, and prior to that, they held a role in Cardiology/Radiology from July 1998 to June 2003.

Shanna Martin received an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Biology from Georgia State University Perimeter College from 1998 to 2000. Later, from 2004 to 2006, they attended The University of Georgia where they earned a degree in Biology/Biological Sciences.
