Hania al Saddik

Hania Al Saddik is an accomplished engineer specializing in biometric research and development, currently employed at IMPRIMERIE NATIONALE S.A. since April 2021. Hania's expertise includes the design and implementation of algorithms for facial biometrics, focusing on areas such as identity card image processing, facial feature extraction, and digital manipulation detection. Previous experience includes a role at SURYS as a Computer Vision Research and Development Engineer, where Hania worked on security element checks and identity document verification. Hania also holds a PhD in Instrumentation and Computer Imaging from Université de Bourgogne and has contributed to multiple international conferences, sharing research on advanced imaging techniques in agricultural settings. Educational qualifications include master's degrees in Modeling, Analysis, and Visualization of Images, as well as Reliability, Identification, and Diagnosis, along with an engineering diploma in Computer and Industrial Control from Lebanese University.
