Marie Borgesson

Lead Character Artist at Improbable

Marie Borgesson has a diverse and extensive work experience in the video game industry. Marie started their career as a Junior Artist at Guerrilla Games, where they worked on environment art for Killzone 2. Marie then joined Sony Computer Entertainment Europe and took on the role of Artist, contributing to projects such as LittleBigPlanet and Killzone 2. Marie also had the opportunity to represent and demonstrate LittleBigPlanet at Games Com 2009 in Cologne. Marie later worked as an Artist at Rockstar North before returning to Guerrilla Games as a Senior Character Artist, where they worked on RIGS - Mechanized Combat League and Killzone Mercenary. Most recently, Marie has been working at Improbable as a Senior Character Artist and is currently serving as the Lead Character Artist.

Marie Borgesson received a Licenced PT degree in Anatomy from the Personal Training School Stockholm in 2001. From 2003 to 2006, they earned a BA (Hons) degree in Computer Visualisation and Animation from Bournemouth University. In 2008, they attended CGWorkshops to study ZBrush - Sculpting Digital Characters. Marie also attended the Florence Academy of Art in 2009 to 2010, focusing on Sculpture.
