Carlos Yago

Carlos Yago began their work experience as a barista at McDonald's in 2016. In 2018, they worked as a delivery driver for UberEats, Deliveroo, and Pizza Hut. In 2019, they worked as a research engineer at LIG Grenoble. From 2017 to 2019, they also worked as a professor at Complétude. In 2020, they worked as a data scientist at CANAL+ Group. From 2021 to 2022, they worked as a software engineer at mediarithmics. In 2022, they joined Opensee as a software engineer. Currently, they are a software engineer at Improving, where they work on building scalable and responsive systems using Scala, Akka, Play Framework, Kafka, and Spark.

From 2017 to 2020, Carlos attended the National School of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics of Grenoble and obtained a diploma as an "Ingénieur" in the field of Computational Mathematics.

In an unspecified year, Carlos studied at the Université Grenoble Alpes and earned a Master 2 (M2) degree in Operations Research.

Prior to their higher education, Carlos attended Lycée Clémenceau in Reims from 2015 to 2017, where they completed preparatory classes for entrance to prestigious French engineering schools.

Among their certifications are: "Akka Cluster Sharding (Scala) - Level 2," "Akka Streams for Scala Professional - Level 2," "Akka Cluster Fundamentals - Level 2," "Certified Reactive Architect Exam v4," "Lightbend Akka for Scala Professional - Level 2," "Reactive Architecture: Building Scalable Systems - Level 2," "Reactive Architecture: CQRS and Event Sourcing - Level 2," "Reactive Architecture: Distributed Messaging Patterns - Level 2," "Reactive Architecture: Domain Driven Design - Level 2," and "Reactive Architecture: Reactive Microservices - Level 2." These certifications were obtained in December 2022 and January 2023.
