Carlos Yago began their work experience as a barista at McDonald's in 2016. In 2018, they worked as a delivery driver for UberEats, Deliveroo, and Pizza Hut. In 2019, they worked as a research engineer at LIG Grenoble. From 2017 to 2019, they also worked as a professor at Complétude. In 2020, they worked as a data scientist at CANAL+ Group. From 2021 to 2022, they worked as a software engineer at mediarithmics. In 2022, they joined Opensee as a software engineer. Currently, they are a software engineer at Improving, where they work on building scalable and responsive systems using Scala, Akka, Play Framework, Kafka, and Spark.

From 2017 to 2020, Carlos attended the National School of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics of Grenoble and obtained a diploma as an "Ingénieur" in the field of Computational Mathematics.
