Janelle Loughlin

Janelle Loughlin excels in aligning HR initiatives with organizational objectives, driving success through strategic planning and data-driven solutions. Janelle successfully manages multidisciplinary teams of employees and contractors, addressing their needs, and enhancing overall performance. Janelle has been instrumental in establishing robust HR operations, designing policies, systems, and procedures at Plastic-Free YYC. In their role at TransCanada, Janelle oversaw the employment life cycle of over 1,600 new hires and evolved Student Programs’ strategy, design structure, and professional development programs. Janelle holds a Bachelor of Management in Human Resource Management and Labour Relations from The University of Lethbridge and a Business Administration Diploma in Human Resources from Mount Royal University.
