Propulsion Development Engineer at Impulse Space Propulsion

Charlie Fenske has a wealth of experience in the aerospace industry. In 2015, they began their career as an Intern at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. From 2017-2018, they worked as a KEEP Intern at NASA, and from 2018-2019 they were an Undergraduate Researcher at MIT AeroAstro. During the same time period, they also held the role of Composite Structures Intern at Aurora Flight Sciences Corporation and Systems Engineering Intern at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory. In 2020, they began working at SpaceX as a Propulsion Engineering Intern - Liquid Engine Development, Starship (BFR) Vehicle Engineering Intern, and Starship (BFR) Build Engineering Intern. Most recently, they started a role as Propulsion Development Engineer at Impulse Space in 2022.

Charlie Fenske attended Falmouth Academy from 2014 to 2018 and then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology between 2018 and 2022. Additionally, in July 2016, they obtained a Student Pilot, Tail Wheel Endorsement from the Federal Aviation Administration.
