Thomas Havens

Thomas Havens has worked as an engineer in various roles since 2011. Thomas began their career as a Research Assistant at Simon Fraser University in 2011. In 2012, they worked as a Hardware Design Engineer (Co-Op) at Blackberry, where they were responsible for electrical characterization and debug of the Blackberry L10 smartphone, as well as trouble shooting and root cause analysis for first run circuit board prototypes. In 2013, they moved to SpaceX, where they worked as an Avionics Systems Integration Engineer. In 2018, they joined OSI Maritime Systems as a Systems Engineer. In 2019, they began working at Advanced Intelligent Systems Inc. as an Embedded System Engineer. In 2020, they moved to Firefly Aerospace, where they worked as a Senior Avionics Engineer. Thomas is currently employed as a Senior Avionics Engineer at Impulse Space Propulsion.

Thomas Havens attended Simon Fraser University from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Mechatronic Systems Engineering.
