Robert Hardie

Robert Hardie is a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Systems Engineer at In-Space Missions Limited since May 2022, with prior experience as a Mechanical Systems Engineer. Previous roles include serving as a Retained Firefighter for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service and working as a Mechanical Engineer at STFC, where Robert specialized in the mechanical design of space flight scientific instruments and associated equipment throughout their life-cycle. Robert also contributed to metal Additive Manufacturing parameter development and designed AM-specific heat exchangers. Earlier experience includes a Structures Intern position at Airbus, focusing on the degradation of elastomers. Robert holds a Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Bath.
