Senior Vice President Sales & Marketing at In-Store Experience

Scott Carter has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Scott started their career at MasterCard, where they served as the VP of Retail Markets and successfully led retail relationships, driving volume and new acceptance through advertising, publicity, internet promotions, and POS programs.

Scott then joined Transact Technologies as the SVP of Strategic Marketing, where they created a new sales organization and established closer relationships with POS distributors, resulting in a 30% increase in participating resellers and opening new markets for company products. During their tenure, sales grew from $16mm in 2005 to over $20mm in 2006.

Scott later worked at Marin's International in multiple roles, including SVP US Operations for Marin's International, where they established the US office and negotiated licensing contracts. Scott also served as the SVP Sales and Marketing for In-Store Experience, a partner company to Marin's International, where they launched a new solution for the digital signage industry.

Scott then joined GHP Media as the Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, leading a team of Account Executives and outside Brokers. Scott focused on managing high-end marketing projects, including custom branding and POP.

In 2018, Scott took on the role of Chief Revenue Officer at Perch, a small company where they created a new position and drove 6x growth in 18 months. Scott implemented new quotas, processes, and metrics while hiring and training a team and establishing a company culture.

Throughout their career, Scott also serves on the Board of Advisors for Seir Hill and was the Managing Partner at Creative Marketing Club. Scott defined and packaged the marketing concept of "Brand Alignment" and developed marketing campaigns for clients, including McDonald's.

Most recently, Scott joined In-Store Experience as the Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing, where they help companies adapt to the changing retail landscape and drive higher sales through engaging customer experiences.

Scott Carter has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications / Business from Muhlenberg College. Scott has also served as a Guest Professor in Database Marketing at Quinnipiac University School of Business. In terms of additional certifications, Scott has a certification from the Center for Creative Leadership obtained in January 2000 and a SuperHost certification from Airbnb.
