Financial Reporting Accountant

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join our dynamic finance and commercial team in the Accounting & Reporting department. You will be an integral part of the team, working on a variety of exciting projects. The teams in this area are responsible for financial accounting and treasury accounting for individual and group entities across multiple counties, and you will be reporting to the Director of Finance.

Key Activities Will Include:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and annual statutory financial statements

• VAT processing and returns

• Debtors and Creditors' oversight

• Preparation of weekly treasury reports

• System closed down at month end

• Financial forecasting & budgeting

• Annual year-end support to external accountancy partners

• Liaising with external stakeholders such as Banks, Revenue, and external accountancy partners

• Delivery of continuous improvement initiatives and various projects within the Accounting & Reporting function

• Work closely with Operations to support the work done on monthly invoicing

Essential Experience and Qualifications:

• 1+ year PQE with an Irish Accounting body
• High level of technical accounting competency and strong analytical skills.
• Highly motivated – able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong IT skills
• Highly organised and accurate, with great attention to detail
• Experience in Industry would be preferable
• Fluent English is essential
• Excellent written and verbal presentation
