Van Willis has a strong background in scientific communications and healthcare strategy. Van is currently working at Inari Medical as a Senior Principal, Scientific Communications, where they are responsible for tracking and communicating developments in the venous thromboembolism field. Van Willis completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from Brigham Young University in 2007. From 2007 to 2012, they attended the University of Colorado Denver School of Medicine where they earned their PhD in Molecular Biology. Van also obtained additional certifications, including a BioMARC Preclinical Aspects of Product Translation Short Course, a BioMARC Product Translation Pathway and Related FDA Regulations Short Course, a Clinical-translational science PhD certificate training, and a University of Denver GMP/GLP Certificate.
