Mingwei Yuan is a Senior Data Scientist at Inari since December 2019, focusing on statistics and digital phenotyping. Prior experience includes working as a Data Scientist at Bayer Crop Science, where Mingwei designed algorithms for assessing environmental impacts on crop growth, and as a Postdoc Research Associate at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, leading research on fertilization recommendations and environmental impacts. Additionally, Mingwei served as a Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, developing process-based models, and as a Teaching Assistant for a soil science course. Early career experience includes an internship as a Data Analyst at the Meteorological Bureau of Baoding in China. Mingwei holds a Ph.D. in Soil Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Meteorology from China Agricultural University.
