Palak Kathiria is a Senior Scientist at Inari since December 2021, with a rich background in plant biotechnology and molecular biology. Previously, Palak served as an Associate Research Officer and Project Lead at the National Research Council Canada from April 2015 to March 2020, focusing on androgenesis in wheat using genomic tools. Prior to that role, Palak was an NSERC fellow at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada from September 2011 to August 2014, conducting genome editing of the IPK gene in wheat. Early career experience includes a position as a Research Associate at The University of Lethbridge, where research on the epigenetic memory of temperature stress in Brassica species was conducted. Palak holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Molecular and Cellular Biology and a Master of Science in Plant Biotechnology from The University of Lethbridge, along with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Sciences from Gujarat Agricultural University.
