Saroj Parajuli

Saroj Parajuli is a scientist specializing in plant molecular characterization and gene editing at Inari since October 2021. Prior experience includes serving as a Biological Scientist and Research Scientist at the University of Florida from January 2014 to October 2021, where significant contributions involved production of transgene-free genome-edited plants, as well as CRISPR/Cas9 editing in Citrus for disease resistance. Earlier roles include Graduate Research Assistant and Visiting Research Scholar at the University of Florida, focusing on metabolic engineering and tissue culture techniques. Saroj Parajuli holds a Ph.D. in Agronomy from the University of Florida, and a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Plant Breeding and Genetics from the Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science in Rampur, Nepal.
