Tom Coward

Tom Coward has a diverse work experience in the field of IT. Tom began their career in 2010 as an On Call Computer Technician at PC Callout Limited, where they provided troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance services to customers. In 2012, they joined Scrutton Bland as an IT Support Technician, responsible for managing IT and telephony services across three sites. Tom then moved to Synergy Systems in 2012 as a Technical Support Engineer, providing IT support remotely and on-site to various clients. In 2014, Tom joined KCOM as a 2nd Line Systems Support and later transitioned to the role of AWS Sysops Consultant. Since 2018, they have been working at Inawisdom, starting as a Cloud Support Consultant and progressing to the roles of Senior Cloud Engineer and currently, Lead Cloud Engineer.

Tom Coward attended Debenham High School from 2000 to 2005. After completing high school, they went on to attend Thomas Mills Sixth Form in Framlingham from 2005 to 2007. Tom obtained various certifications throughout their career, including the AWS Business Professional and AWS Technical Professional from Amazon Web Services in 2016, the MS: Windows 7, Configuring and MS: Windows 7, Enterprise Desktop Administrator from Microsoft in 2015, and the ITIL® Foundation certificate in IT Service Management from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in 2015. Tom also obtained multiple certifications from Microsoft in 2013, including the MCITP: Enterprise Desktop Administrator on Windows 7, MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional, MCSA: Windows 7, and MCTS: Windows 7, Configuration. In addition, Tom obtained certifications from Amazon Web Services, such as the AWS Certified Developer - Associate in 2016, Amazon Web Services DevOps Engineer - Professional in 2019, Amazon Web Services Advanced Networking Specialty in 2019, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate in 2016, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional Level in 2017, and AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate in 2016. Tom recently acquired the Linux Foundation Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification from The Linux Foundation in 2023.
