Kim Turk grew up in Canton, Ill., and moved to Peoria in 2000 to attend Bradley University. While at Bradley pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management, she discovered the banking industry.
During college, Kim worked part-time as a teller for MidAmerica National Bank, where Pam Cain was her boss. After graduation, she joined the year-long management trainee program at MidAmerica.
In 2003, Kim began working with Al Covington, who taught her how to process construction loans and what to look for when performing construction inspections. In 2007, she was able to work alongside both Al and Pam, joining the INB Peoria team as a commercial loan processor. Kim was promoted to Commercial Loan Officer for INB in 2014, and to Assistant Vice President, Commercial Lending in 2021. She handles all commercial construction loans in the Peoria Area market, finances rehab homes, and assists the mortgage department with residential construction loans.
