Venkata R. Kancharla

Drawing on his IT consulting, business operations, and program and project management expertise, Venkat Kancharla serves as ITI Data Director of Solution Delivery and Operations for India. Today, he is responsible for the seamless delivery of client solutions from our global delivery center in Hyderabad, including both the management of onsite and offshore technical teams, as well as client relationship management. Additionally, Venkat is responsible for our center’s administration and operations, where the scope of his work spans strategic planning, capacity planning, HR process improvement, talent recruitment, resource allocation, and information security processes and compliance.

Venkat joined ITI in 2013, and he has long served as an integral member of our team.

Asa critical part of the team responsible for establishing our global delivery center in Hyderabad, he played key roles in both talent recruitment and the set-up of our center’s infrastructure. In fact, it was under his highly capable guidance that the center grew significantly to support the needs of our clients across the globe. Additionally, Venkat was able to retain that staff while also maintaining a 95% resource utilization rate.

Venkat began his early career with a small accounting firm, before transitioning to Satyam Computers (now Tech Mahindra), where he managed employee stock options, served as a Business Analyst, and then as a Project Manager for global financial services clients, including Citigroup, Smith Barney, and Morgan Stanley.

Venkat earned his Bachelor of Law degree from Osmania University and Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Sri Krishna Devaraya University. In addition, he earned his Diploma in Management from Indira Ghandi National Open University (IGNOU).
