Position Overview:

Incident IQ is seeking an Events Marketing Specialist to support iiQ’s event marketing execution. The ideal candidate will be extremely organized, process driven, eager to learn and interested in becoming an expert in the execution of Incident IQ  tradeshows/conferences sponsorships. This is a hybrid position, we work in office on Tuesdays and Thursdays you would be able to work from our Grant Park/ Atlanta office or our Alpharetta office

You have event experience and enjoy working with tradeshows/ conferences. You are a multi-tasker, organized, and a self-starter. You are someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and likes being responsible for a multitude of events.

Incident IQ is a service management platform built for K-12 school districts, featuring asset management, help ticketing, facilities maintenance solutions, and more. Event Marketing Specialist will be a member of the marketing team at iiQ, reporting directly to the Event Marketing Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute and manage all aspects of tradeshow/ conference sponsorships, including contracting, coordination of logistics such as equipment, catering, marketing collateral, promotional giveaways, and company travel requirements (30+ tradeshow/conferences per year)
  • Plan, execute and manage all aspects of annual sponsorships with industry publications. This sponsorships include webinars, social media posts, events and other marketing deliverables
  • Handle individual event budgets, with a focus on delivering high-quality leads and generating pipeline, while maximizing the return on investment of each event
  • Support other field events as needed
  • Manage external vendor relationships, including negotiating budgets and contracts
  • Domestic travel to some events- up to 20% of the time

Required skills & experience:

  • 2-3 years of experience executing event participation/sponsorship contracts and fulfilling the deliverables, including booth selection, lead retrieval, etc.
  • Pre-event operations, including budget creation, booth preparations, event staffing, ordering collateral and promotional items, purchasing and shipping supplies, travel coordination, on-site services, etc.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and manage a high-volume event calendar
  • Able to work in a complex, highly collaborative team environment
  • Superb organization skills and be deadline and schedule oriented, yet able to flex with dynamically changing priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to be poised and effective during high-pressure situations; ability to anticipate issues and have (or quickly develop) contingency plans
