Hidetoshi Futagawa has been working in the tech industry since 1995. Hidetoshi began their career as a Systems Engineer at Tandem Computers before joining Compaq Computer Corporation in 1998. In 2002, they moved to HP as a Systems Engineer, where they designed and built a very large scale mail server system and a mobile credit service using BEA WebLogic and Tuxedo on NonStop Server. In 2006, they joined BEA Systems as a Senior Sales Consultant, where they built and managed BEA Solution Center and wrote WebLogic Server 9.x/10 implementation guide book. In 2008, they moved to Oracle US as a Principal Software Developer, Senior Software Developer, and Senior Sales Consultant. During this time, they specialized in JRockit product family, conducted a lot of POCs with WebLogic, Coherence, Oracle Service Bus, and Exalogic Elastic Cloud, and wrote Java performance trouble shooting articles. In 2018, they joined Incorta as a Performance Engineer.

Hidetoshi Futagawa obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mathematics from The University of Tokyo between 1991 and 1995. In September 1995, they also passed the Class 1 Information Technology Engineer Examination administered by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
