Omneya Rabie

Omneya Rabie has been working in the field of technology since 2011. Omneya started their career as a Software Engineer at Valeo and then moved to the German University in Cairo as a Teaching/Research Assistant in 2011. In this role they were responsible for performing research in the area of Human Computer Interaction, Text Mining and Machine Learning, leading tutorials and labs of Data Structures and Algorithms, Computer Architecture, Databases, and Introduction to Media Engineering, and coordinating teaching and material for Introduction to Computer Programming course. In 2014, they joined Mentor Graphics as a Technical Writer, where they were responsible for writing and editing technical documents such as User Guides, Tutorials, Release Notes, and Release Highlights. Omneya also performed tutorials and workflows on the subject software tools for accurate documentation. In 2020, Omneya joined The German University in Cairo as an Assistant Lecturer. Most recently, in 2022, they began working as a Product Manager at Incorta.

Omneya Rabie obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from The German University in Cairo in 2011, after completing their Bachelor's Project at Ulm University in 2010. Omneya then went on to obtain their Master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from The German University in Cairo in 2013. Prior to this, they attended Notre Dame Des Apotres from 1993 to 2006. In 2018, they obtained a certification in Transmedia Storytelling from Coursera.
