Shankar Gopinath

Shankar Gopinath has over 10 years of experience in the technology industry. In 2010, they began their career as a Software Engineer at Aspire Systems, where they were responsible for application/product development and technical consultation. In 2014, they worked as a Summer Intern at PepsiCo in Sales Management. From 2015-2020, they worked at Microsoft India as a Data & AI Consultant and Partner Enablement. During this time, they were involved in consultative sales deals, collaborated with solution architects on complex enterprise deals, and assisted in on-boarding ISVs to Azure. Shankar also won several awards, including the Global Hackathon 2017 under Kevin Scott (CTO) Executive Challenge and the Architect of Excellence (ACE) Award for displaying high performance growth mindset during FY 18 H2. In 2020, Shankar Gopinath joined Incorta as the Director of Partner Technology/Solutions and Business Development. Shankar worked closely with engineering and product teams to build reliable and scalable features to integrate Incorta solutions with services/platforms from technology partners. Shankar also assisted in numerous joint GTM strategies and explored new partnerships.

Shankar Gopinath has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, which they obtained between 2013 and 2015. Shankar also has a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Government College of Technology, Coimbatore, which they obtained between 2006 and 2010. Shankar also attended Kendriya Vidyalaya between 1994 and 2004. In addition, they have obtained several certifications from Microsoft, including 70-774 | Performing Cloud Data Science with Azure Machine Learning (obtained in August 2018), 70-475 | Designing and Implementing Big Data Analytics Solutions (obtained in January 2018), and 70-473 | Designing and Implementing Cloud Data Platform Solutions (obtained in April 2017).
