Dr. Rohit Bhandari

Dr. Rohit Bhandari has extensive work experience in scientific and medical writing. Dr. Rohit most recently held the position of Head of Scientific Publications at Indegene since July 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Novartis as an Expert Scientific Writer specializing in Neuroscience from July 2021 to July 2023. Dr. Rohit also served as a Senior Associate Manager in Neuroscience at Eli Lilly and Company from March 2019 to July 2021, and had a brief role in publication planning in September-November 2020. Before that, they worked as a Senior Scientific Writer in various therapeutic areas at SIRO Clinpharm Pvt. Ltd. from September 2016 to March 2019. Dr. Rohit gained experience in respiratory medical writing as a Senior Scientific Writer at Novartis Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. from April 2014 to September 2016. Dr. Bhandari started their career as a Pharmacovigilance Scientist at Quantum Solution India from May 2013 to April 2014. Dr. Rohit also worked as a Senior Research Fellow at Panjab University from October 2008 to October 2012. Prior to that, they were a Lecturer at A.S.B.A.S.J.S. Memorial College of Pharmacy from August 2007 to October 2008. Dr. Bhandari began their research career as a Research Scientist at Ind-Swift Ltd from November 2005 to July 2007, where they focused on research and development and operator training.

Dr. Rohit Bhandari has a strong educational background in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Dr. Rohit earned their Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) degree from Panjab University between 1998 and 2002. Following this, they pursued a Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm.) degree in Pharmaceutics from the same institution, completing it from 2004 to 2005. Dr. Bhandari then went on to obtain a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Panjab University, which they accomplished from 2008 to 2013.

In addition to their formal education, Dr. Bhandari also obtained several certifications. In 2003, they acquired the GATE-2003 certification from IIT, Madras, which is facilitated by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. In 2011, Dr. Bhandari completed a distance learning certificate course on intellectual property titled "DL-101 General course on intellectual property" from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
