David Walker

David Walker is a seasoned actuarial professional with extensive experience in the healthcare and insurance industries. Currently serving as a Manager and Actuary at Independence Blue Cross since April 2015, David has previously held key positions including Director of Actuarial Services at United Health Group from July 1997 to January 2012 and Manager of Actuarial Services at Prudential Insurance from April 1988 to July 1997. David earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from DePauw University, where studies spanned from 1975 to 1978.
