Samantha Cruz

Samantha Cruz has over 18 years of experience in statistical analysis and medical cost analytics, currently serving as the Director of Medical Cost Analytics at Independence Blue Cross since August 2011. Prior roles at the same organization include Manager, Lead Research Analyst, Senior Research Analyst, and Research Analyst. Previous experience includes a tenure as a Statistician at IMS Health and as a Mathematical Statistician at the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Additionally, Samantha worked as a Statistician/Computer Scientist at L-3 Communications from 1999 to 2003. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Statistics from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from Penn State University.
