Tom Olenzak

Tom Olenzak currently serves as Managing Director at Cigna Ventures, a venture capital fund focused on healthcare innovation and growth. In addition, Tom has held the position of Managing Director of Corporate Development and Strategic Investing at Independence Blue Cross since March 2012, where responsibilities include managing corporate strategic investments for a substantial health plan and overseeing a corporate venture capital portfolio. Tom's extensive experience in the healthcare and technology sectors includes roles such as Managing Director at Drexel Partners, LLC, Partner and President of Robin Hood Ventures, Venture Partner at Safeguard Scientifics, and CFO at Life Management Advisor, LLC. Furthermore, Tom has contributed to strategic initiatives in various organizations, including The Nature Conservancy, where as Vice Chairman, the focus was on integrating investment strategies with conservation efforts. Tom holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Princeton University, obtained in 1989.
