Tony Toury

Tony Toury has extensive work experience in the field of total rewards and compensation consulting. Tony currently holds the position of Vice President, Total Rewards at Independence Blue Cross starting from September 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Global Leader of Total Rewards at Veolia Water Technologies and Solutions from May 2021 to September 2023.

Before their roles in total rewards leadership, Tony worked at Willis Towers Watson, with various positions including Director from March 2019 to May 2021, Associate Director from April 2017 to March 2019, and Senior Associate from August 2013 to March 2017. Tony also gained experience as a Consultant at Aon Hewitt, focusing on financial benchmarking, analysis, and compensation consulting projects from August 2011 to August 2013.

Tony's earlier career roles include a Research Manager position at Gerson Lehrman Group from April 2010 to March 2011, an Analyst role at Thomson Reuters from January 2008 to March 2010, and a Summer Financial Analyst position at Citi from June 2007 to August 2007. Tony began their career as an Equity Research Intern at Telsey Advisory Group from August 2006 to May 2007.

Tony Toury has a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Hunter College, which they obtained from 2004 to 2007. Prior to that, they attended New York University from 2003 to 2004, studying Computer Engineering, although they did not obtain a degree in that field. Additionally, in February 2022, Tony obtained a certification as a Dare to Lead Trained professional from Dare to Lead™ Trained institution.
