Nick Kaczmar

Nick Kaczmar has extensive experience in the banking industry, specializing in commercial lending and relationship management. Nick has worked for Independent Bank since 2018 as the Vice President of Commercial Lending, helping businesses with financing needs such as commercial real estate, working capital, equipment loans, and refinancing. Prior to that, they worked at Citizens Bank from 2011 to 2018 as a Senior Business Banking Relationship Manager, where they managed a portfolio of over 130 business clients and closed various types of commercial loans. Nick also worked at other banks such as Flagstar Bank, First Independence Bank, Sterling Bank & Trust, Franklin Bank, and Peoples State Bank, where they held roles such as Sr. Credit Analyst, Assistant Vice President/Commercial Loan Officer, Commercial Loan Officer/Relationship Manager, and Commercial Loan Portfolio Manager. Throughout their career, Nick has demonstrated a strong track record in originating and closing commercial loans, exceeding management goals, and managing loan portfolios. Nick is experienced in underwriting, negotiation, and providing banking solutions to match companies' growth needs.

Nick Kaczmar pursued their education at various institutions over the years. Nick obtained an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Oakland Community College, where they studied from 1986 to 1992. Following this, they attended Walsh College from 1992 to 1995, where they completed their Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. Nick continued their educational journey by attending Central Michigan University from 1997 to 1999, where they earned a Master of Science in Administration with a focus on International Administration.
