Debbie Kirby

Debbie Kirby currently serves as the Head of Communications for the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse (IICSA), a position held since August 2016. In addition to this role, Debbie has also acted as Interim Head of Communications and served previously as Chief Press Officer during their tenure at IICSA. Prior to this, Debbie held the position of Head of External Communications at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust and worked as a Communications Adviser for the National Crime Agency (NCA). Debbie's career began in the Ministry of Justice, where the role of Prison Service Chief Press Officer was undertaken from November 2007 to June 2013.
