Michael Brown

Michael Brown is an experienced Applications DBA currently with BlueStar US since May 2013. With a strong background in Oracle database management, Michael has been an active member of the Oracle Applications Users Group and the Independent Oracle Users Group since the 1990s. Previous roles include Senior Oracle DBA positions at Colibri Limited and Glen Raven, where significant contributions were made to upgrades and implementations of Oracle Applications. Additionally, Michael served as Technical Manager/DBA at Inova, Inc., overseeing internal systems and managing junior developers. Michael holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Clemson University and a Bachelor’s degree in Math and Computer Science from Appalachian State University. Recognized as an Oracle ACE, Michael has also engaged in multiple EBS upgrades and platform migrations to Linux throughout the career.
