Michael Luongo

Michael Luongo has a diverse and extensive work experience. Michael is currently a Researcher Ph.D. student at Purdue University, specializing in tourism redevelopment in conflict zones. Michael Luongo has a diverse education history. Michael completed a Knight-Wallace Journalism Fellowship at the University of Michigan from 2015 to 2016, focusing on Travel Journalism Research. Prior to that, they attended Rutgers University Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy from 1994 to 1998, where they obtained a Master's degree in Urban Planning. Michael also holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from Rutgers University–New Brunswick, which they earned from 1986 to 1991. Additionally, they pursued Non-Matriculated Summer Film and Television Studies at UCLA from 1987 to 1989, furthering their interests in Film/Cinema/Video Studies.
