Bart Statowski

Bart Statowski has held various compliance roles throughout their career. Bart started as a Compliance Associate at West Suburban Bank in 2009 and worked their way up to Manager at RSM US LLP from 2011 to 2017. Bart then took on the role of Sr. Compliance Officer Advisory at LegacyTexas from 2017 to 2020 before becoming a Senior Compliance Officer at NexBank from 2020 to 2022. Currently, they serve as the Director of Compliance Programs at Independent Financial starting in July 2022.

Bart Statowski earned a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Economics from Loyola University Chicago from 2004 to 2008. Bart also attended the ABA National Compliance School in 2011 and the ABA Advanced Compliance School from an unspecified start year to 2018. In addition, Bart obtained certifications as a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Fraud Professional (CAFP) in 2017, a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) in 2015, and a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) in 2014.
