Jennifer Bowman, CP APMP, CSM

Jennifer Bowman has over 20 years of experience in business development, capture support, and proposal management and development services. Jennifer is currently the Director of Capture and Proposals at Index Analytics LLC since November 2022. Prior to this, they were the Owner / Principal Consultant at Bowman Consulting Services, LLC, where they provided a wide range of services to IT and professional services contractors in the Federal marketplace. Jennifer supported contracts for various government agencies and specialized in market intelligence, proposal management, and business development.

Before that, Jennifer worked as a Proposal Manager at SRA International from October 2011 to February 2014. Jennifer managed strategic proposals, developed win themes and discriminators, and conducted competitive data analysis. Prior to SRA International, they were a Proposal Manager at General Dynamics Information Technology from April 2008 to September 2011. In this role, they provided full proposal lifecycle support and served as the proposal manager for capture managers across all GDIT Divisions.

Jennifer's work experience also includes being a Proposal Manager at FGM, Inc. from June 2005 to April 2008, and a Proposal Manager at AC Technologies / PEC solutions (now Avaya Government Solutions) from May 2004 to June 2005. At both companies, they managed the full proposal lifecycle and collaborated with capture managers, program managers, and the CEO to develop capture strategies and win themes.

Earlier in their career, Jennifer worked as a Systems Engineer/Requirements Manager at Northrop Grumman (formerly BDM/TRW) from January 1998 to May 2004. Jennifer led the Requirements Analysis & Management for a mission-critical DoD software project and served as the primary interface with the customer. Prior to that, they were a Marketing Specialist/Proposal Coordinator at Bdm International from March 1997 to December 1997, where they conducted marketing research and developed capability briefings.

Jennifer Bowman, CP APMP, CSM, holds a B.S. degree in Decision Sciences/Management Information Systems from George Mason University - School of Business. In 2011, they obtained the Certified Practitioner certification from the Association of Proposal Management Professionals, and in March 2022, they received the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance.
