Ingrid Holzer

Ingrid Holzer has over three decades of work experience in the software engineering field. Ingrid is currently a Principal Software Engineer at Index Engines, where they have been working since February 2016. Prior to that, Ingrid worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Pi-Coral, Inc. from March 2015 to November 2015.

Ingrid held the position of Sr. Software Engineer at Violin Memory, Inc. for eight years, starting in May 2007 and ending in February 2015. Before that, they worked as a Sr. Software Developer at Vonage Holdings, Inc. from June 2006 to May 2007.

In the early stages of their career, Ingrid worked as a Principal Software Engineer at Ciena Inc./Internet Photonics from March 2004 to April 2006. Ingrid also has a background in education, having worked as a Teacher of Mathematics in various locations from 2002 to 2004.

Before their roles in software engineering, Ingrid worked as a Software Engineer at both Hewlett-Packard Co. from 1996 to 2001 and Novell, Inc. from 1993 to 1996. Ingrid started their career at AT&T/Bell Labs/Unix System Labs, where they were a Member of Technical Staff from 1985 to 1993.

Ingrid Holzer obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Manhattan College, where they studied from 1981 to 1985. Ingrid further pursued their education and completed a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology, attending from 1985 to 1987.
