Jaspreet Singh

Jaspreet Singh has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Senior Data Scientist at Index Exchange, where they have been working since February 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an Applied Scientist at Amazon from June 2020 to December 2022.

Jaspreet also has experience in research and academia, including their time as a PhD candidate at L3S Research Center. During their doctoral studies from January 2015 to June 2020, they focused on Information Retrieval with a special focus on search and exploration. Jaspreet also worked as a Research Assistant at L3S Research Center from January 2011 to December 2014.

Another notable role in Jaspreet's work experience is their position as a Web Developer at HERE, a Nokia company, from August 2013 to July 2014. In this role, they focused on UI/UX design and development for the Here Maps Developer presence on Github, as well as rapid prototyping using Node.

Jaspreet Singh pursued their education in computer science, starting with a Bachelor's Degree from Vellore Institute of Technology, which they completed from 2007 to 2011. Jaspreet then went on to earn a Master's Degree in Informatics from Leibniz Universität Hannover, studying from 2012 to 2014. Ultimately, Jaspreet obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from Leibniz Universität Hannover, completing their doctoral studies from 2015 to 2018.
