Amit Prakash

Amit Prakash has gained extensive experience in the energy and power sector through their work at various organizations. Amit'smost recent position was as Vice President & Head of Commercial Operations at India Power, where they were responsible for revenue cycle management, cost-reduction, waste elimination, revenue enhancement, and overall commercial activities. Prior to that, they worked at BSES Delhi as General Manager, overseeing business, commercial, and operations & maintenance assignments. Amit also has experience as a Summer Intern at North Delhi Power Limited and as a GET at OSWAL CHEMICALS AND FERTILIZERS LIMITED.

Amit Prakash pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting with a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electrical and Electronics from Manipal Institute of Technology and Manipal Academy of Higher Education, which they completed from 1997 to 2001. Following this, they enrolled in the National Power Training Institute, Faridabad, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Power Management from 2002 to 2004. To enhance their expertise further, they later pursued an Advanced Certificate Programme in Power Distribution Management (ACPDM) from Indira Gandhi National Open University in 2007.
