Sona has a strong background in human resources, with a focus in various roles at different companies. Sona started their career at Metro Cash & Carry India Private Limited in 2011 as an HR Executive, where they played an active role in driving HR and OD initiatives across the organization. Sona also had responsibilities in performance management, employee relations, and training. In 2014, Sona joined Bharti Retail Limited (Easyday) as a District Manager HR before moving to India1 Payments Limited, where they held multiple roles including Manager, Senior Manager, and currently Assistant Vice President in the Human Resources department.
