Vipin has experience in a wide range of contentious matters including civil & criminal litigation and commercial arbitration. His experience in civil litigation, in addition to commercial arbitration, consists of handling diverse litigation ranging from writ petitions to those under Insolvency& Bankruptcy Code, recovery laws, intellectual property laws, property laws, employment laws, consumer protection laws, environment protection laws, rent control laws and service tax. He has handled criminal litigation under Negotiable Instruments Act, food laws and packaging laws.

Vipin has proven expertise in various aspects of cross-border commercial contracting such as end to end bidding support, drafting, advising deviations, negotiation, vetting and administration of commercial contracts for multifarious purposes including high value Project contracts, Manufacturing & Technology transfer Agreements, Internet Retailer Agreements, Software Development & Licensing Agreement, Employment Contracts, Financial Facility Agreements and Commercial Lease Agreements. Vipin has expertise in various aspects of SEZ laws from setting up of units to exit and have led a first of its kind partial de-notification process of SEZ in a complex transaction involving property laws, indirect & direct tax laws, and regulatory issues.

Vipin is skilled at providing general legal advisory on a host of statutory/regulatory matters routinely applicable to industries such as FMCG, Engineering projects, and Manufacturing. He helps in devising corporate governance policies and in setting up in-house legal & compliance organisations. His in-house experience helps him in bringing commercially feasible legal solutions to conflict situations.

Vipin was engaged in private practice prior to joining INDIALAW and has discharged various in-house roles with large corporates such as Hindustan Unilever Ltd and ABB including that of Group Legal Counsel of a Finnish MNC by name Salcomp. He was also briefly associated with a firm executing power projects for US Army in Afghanistan, basing out of UAE. He was indulged in a searching private practice prior to assuming in-house.
