Joseph Rodriguez is a dedicated tobacco cessation support specialist and advocate for American Indian youth with experience in various roles aimed at promoting health and education. Currently serving as a Tobacco Prevention and Cessation Research Assistant at the Indian Health Council, Inc., Joseph collaborates with healthcare professionals to raise awareness about tobacco cessation benefits. Joseph's previous roles at UCLA include leading outreach initiatives as the American Indian Recruitment Assistant Project Coordinator, where partnerships were formed with multiple school districts to enhance access to higher education. Additionally, as a Freshman Admit Coordinator for the American Indian Student Association, Joseph organized events that significantly increased the enrollment of American Indian students. Joseph holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychobiology from UCLA, completed in 2023.
