Atharva Modi is a Prime Minister's Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Science since August 2022, focusing on doctoral research. Previously, Atharva worked as a Junior Research Fellow at the National Center for Biological Sciences, studying adult neurogenesis and the effects of stress on it. Atharva also held the role of Assistant Manager at ITC Limited, where responsibilities included managing new product development and manufacturing technologies. Leadership experience includes serving as General Secretary of Hostel-5 at IIT Bombay, where Atharva managed a substantial annual budget and successfully implemented various initiatives, including a zero-waste project. Other roles include internships in research and development at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, supply chain and operations lead at Xynteo, and analytical work for Goodera. Atharva earned a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and completed secondary education at Holy Trinity School, Dewas.
